Are your caregivers certified, and are you licensed?
That said, we view provincial licensing standards as a starting point—not the finish line. While many programs (including $10-a-day programs) operate strictly at the minimum requirements, we intentionally build far beyond them. We invest in enhanced environments, higher-quality materials, thoughtful programming, and a more enriching day-to-day experience for children.
In short, we meet all required standards—and then we raise them. The result is a warm, engaging, and inspiring environment that truly supports children’s growth, confidence, and well-being.
What are your prices and what’s included?
We are not part of the $10-a-day childcare program. Our fees reflect the level of care, programming, and services we provide and typically work out to approximately $8.00 per hour. That’s right, we are the same cost as that morning coffee.
Tuition includes daily breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, along with our full educational programming, caring and qualified educators, and a safe, nurturing environment for your child. There are no additional charges for meals or regular daily activities, and no mandatory volunteer hours required from families.

How many hours per day can my child attend?
Children may attend for up to 10 consecutive hours per day, scheduled at any time within our operating hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This allows families flexibility while ensuring a consistent and balanced day for each child.
Are meals included? What type of food do you serve, and how do you handle allergies?
Our menus focus on balanced, wholesome foods that meet nutritional guidelines and encourage healthy eating habits. We aim to offer a variety of foods so children are exposed to different flavours and textures in a positive, supportive environment.
We take food allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. Families are asked to provide detailed allergy information during enrollment, and our team follows clear protocols to ensure children’s safety, including careful food preparation, supervision, and staff awareness. If your child has specific dietary needs, we’re happy to discuss how we can best accommodate them.
Are your services tax deductible?
Yes. Child care fees are tax deductible, and many families find that our average rate of approximately $8.00 per hour works out to be even less once they factor in their personal child care tax deductions.
The exact amount you can claim depends on your household income and individual tax situation, so the final cost will vary from family to family. We recommend speaking with your accountant or tax professional to understand how this applies to you specifically.
Many parents are pleasantly surprised to see how affordable our care becomes after deductions are applied.
